Mrs. Addie Jo Enzor Strickland, 72 of the Spring Branch Community passed away Wednesday July 22, 2009 at Conway Medical Center, Conway,SC. Mrs. Strickland was born February 19, 1937 in Cerro Gordo NC to the late W. Roscoe and Sallie Lou McCathern Enzor. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Charlie R. Caughman. She is survived by sons, Steve W. Strickland of the home, William C. Strickland and his wife Teresa of Surfside; two daughters, Teresa S. Weatherford and her husband Tony of Murrell's Inlet and Jessica S. Jones and her husband Billy of Myrtle Beach; one grandson, Justin R. Jones; three step children, Jess, Mona and Tiffany Strickland all of Columbia SC; her former husband, Jesse W. Strickland of Columbia SC; a sister, Janet C. Rawls of Lumberton; a sister in law, Elise H. Caughman, Aunt Floride M. Huggins, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Strickland was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church. She attended Fair Bluff School where she was active in sports and area beauty pageants. She was a graduate of Campbell College Buies Creek NC and Midlands Technical College in Columbia SC. She worked in Columbia for S.C.E.&G., SC Commission for the Blind, local radio and property management in Columbia and Surfside Beach. She was a member of the Junior Woman's Club and was active in their "Red Stocking Revues". The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Friday, July 24, 2009 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday July 25, 2009 at Spring Branch Baptist Church, Dr. Floyd Enzor and Rev. Johnathan Barbee will officiate, burial will follow in the church cemetery.
