Alison S Rouse

Mrs. Alison S. Rouse, age 63 of Cerro Gordo, NC, died Sunday, March 23, 2025 in the Novant Health Center in Wilmington, NC, after an extended illness.

Alison S. Rouse, lead a life of love, care, and compassion. She served her community as a first responder by volunteering with the Fair Bluff Fire Department, and 15 years as a Paramedic. She was a devoted Christian who attended Fair Bluff Church of God. Alison is survived by her loving husband Dennis Rouse, her two sons Brandon and Jesse Cartrette, her two bonus children Eric Rouse, his sister Brittney Rowley, her adopted niece Erin Devack, and her loving sister Sherry Brown. She was blessed to have seven grandchildren, was expecting her eighth, and one great grandson. Alison will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 2 PM in the Meares & Jones Funeral Service Chapel with burial to follow in the Strickland Family Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, NC. 
 A time of visitation will be held from 1PM until 1:50 PM, Wednesday, March 26, 2025 in the Meares & Jones Funeral Service Chapel.
