Arthur S. Parrish, 76 of Darlington died Monday April 30, 2012 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. Mr. Parrish was born March 28, 1936 in McColl and was a son of the late Walton Thomas and Edna Thompson Parrish. He was retired from Builders First Choice. Memorial services will be held at 4 PM Thursday May 3, 2012 at the funeral home, interment will follow in the Meares Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Surviving are his wife, Shirley H. Parrish of the home; a daughter, Angela P Gaylor (Steve) of Burgaw NC; a son, Arthur Parrish, II (Amy) of Timmonsville; a brother, William J. Parrish (Aurilla) of Tallahassee FL, 2 sisters, B.J. Venable (James) of Durham NC, Nancy Sansbury (James) of Florence; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Memorials may be to McLeod Hospice House, 1203 East Cheves Street Florence SC 29506
