Beth Worley Strickland 76, of Chadbourn died Tuesday November 21, 2017 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville. Graveside services will be held at 2pm on Saturday November 25, 2017 in the Piney Forest Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Deleon Williams and Jonathan Simmons officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Beth was born in Robeson County on January 17, 1941 to the late Jack and Elizabeth Nance Worley. A member of the Cerro Gordo Baptist Church, a prayer warrior and faithful servant of the Lord through music and food ministry. 

Mrs. Strickland was preceded in death by a grandson, Chris.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Lloyd Gerald Strickland, three sons; Cloyd G. Strickland and wife, Cathy, of Chadbourn, NC., Boyd Lee Strickland, and wife, Sheila, of Cerro Gordo, NC., and Bryan Allen Strickland and wife, June, of Mt. Pleasant, SC., a daughter; Jennifer Beth White of Whiteville, NC., 14 grandchildren; Kelton, Megan, Jason, Jonathan, Amber, Anna, Andrew, Seth, Jamison, Jackson, Deanna, Marcos, Saul-David and Maria. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; Kelsey, Katelyn, Stacey, Ayden, Ethan, Daphne, Clayton, Teddy, Lynley, Xavier, Wesley, Juariana, and Elijah.
