Bobby Floyd, 75 of Evergreen died Friday August 12, 2011 at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Whiteville. Mr. Floyd was born in Columbus County a son of the late Roscoe and Nettie Williamson Floyd. Mr. Floyd was a farmer and also owned and operated Floyd's Grocery in the Macedonia Community. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Sunday August 14, 2011 at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Linzy Nance will officiate. Surviving are his wife, Margie Ivey Floyd of the home; 2 daughters, Donna F. Godwin and her husband Kevin of Evergreen, Angela F. Williamson and her husband Randy of Evergreen; a son Greg Floyd of Evergreen; a brother, David Floyd of Farmville VA; a sister, Dorothy Branch of Evergreen; six grandchildren; Brett Godwin, Andrea Godwin, Whitney Godwin, Morgan Priest, Cory Priest and Kainan Floyd; 2 great grandchildren, Rylee Godwin and Bryson Godwin: The family will receive friends Saturday August 13, 2011 from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
