Carolyn Hamilton

Carolyn Hamilton age 79 of Fair Bluff, NC. died Friday in New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC. Born in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Early and Sylvia Sealey. Carolyn is the widow of J.L. Hamilton.

She is survived by two sons: Rickie (Lisa) Hamilton of Tabor City, NC., and Perry (Sharon) Hamilton of Fair Bluff, NC. Also surviving, are two daughters: Deidre (JR) Callahan of Fairmont, NC., and Ava (Mack) Ward of Chadbourn, NC.,9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandsons.

Carolyn was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and long time Sunday School teacher at Fair Bluff Baptist Church. She was an avid Tarheel fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 26,2018 at 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM in the Fair Bluff Methodist Church with the service following at 3:00 PM in the church. Burial will follow in the Haynes-Sealey Cemetery in Cerro Gordo, NC.

The family will be receiving friends at Carolyn's home, 11621 Andrew Jackson Highway, Fair Bluff, NC.
