Charles Henry Richardson, 72, died Saturday April 3, 2010 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter in Whiteville. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday April 6, at the Strickland Cemetery at Cherry Grove with Rev. Josh Philips officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday April 5 at Meares Funeral Home in Fair Bluff. Surviving are his wife, Thelma S. Richardson of the home; a son, Charles Lindsey Richardson and his wife, Darlene of Raleigh; a sister, Ortha Greene of Merritt Island Fla.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
