Charles Wesley Shelley, Jr., 71, of Fair Bluff died Thursday June 29, 2017 at his residence.  A graveside service will be held 11am Saturday July 1, 2017 at the Meares Cemetery with Rev. Todd Padgett officiating.

Born June 16, 1946 on Robeson Co. to the late Charles W. and Margaret Green Shelley, Sr. He graduated from Fair Bluff High School, and was a cattle farmer. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Miriam Shelley Skipworth and Alice Shelley Brown.

Survived by his wife Beth S. Shelley, a son: Christopher W. Shelley of Fair Bluff, daughter: Sherry S. Powell of Fair Bluff, sister: Edith Shelley Arnett of Lumberton, three grandchildren: Hunter, Lane, and Kaylyn.  He is also survived by step-sons: Scott Stone and Ryan Stone of Johnsonville, SC and four step grandchildren: Hunter Elizabeth, Cole, Sadie, and Bair.
