Christeen “Peggy” Lane of Barnesville was born on February 10, 1931 and entered into eternity on Saturday,  February 20, 2016.

Ms. Lane was a member of Barnesville Baptist Church.  She    enjoyed gardening and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her father & mother: Melvin and Lula Coleman; her husband: Earl Lane; one son: Dale Lane; sister Gladys Coleman, three brothers: Leo Coleman, L.D. Coleman and Earnest Coleman.

She is survived by one daughter: Linda Hardee and her    husband Robert and one son: Bobby Lane; one brother: Sam Coleman; five grandchildren: Amy, Renee, Scott, Jeff and Kelly; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family would like to send a special Thank You to the  Barnesville Baptist Church Community, Cape Fear Hospice & Home Care, Lola Rouse and Noreen Brady for their kindness & generosity for the past 50 years.
