Christine Hammond, 83 of Nichols died Friday August 31, 2012 at Mullins Nursing Center.
Miss Hammond was born March 21, 1929 in Horry County. She was a daughter of the late Emory and Bertie Edwards Hammond.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday September 2, 2012 at Meares Funeral Home, Fair Bluff. Burial will follow in the Hammond Cemetery, Nichols.
Surviving are a brother, Will Hammond of Nichols and 2 sisters, Alice “Judy” Hammond of Nichols and Veronica “Ronnie Sue” Daniels of Whiteville.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday September 1, 2012 at the funeral home.
