Clemson Hayes Obituary
Mr. Clemson Gale Hayes, 67, of Cerro Gordo, died Thursday, February 14, 2019, at his residence.
Mr. Hayes was born in Whiteville, Columbus County, NC on October 4, 1951; a son to the late Lonzie Keyer and Orlean Strickland Hayes.
He was a retired landscaping truck driver.
A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, February, 17, 2019 at the Cherry Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Rusty Davis officiating.
The family will receive friends at the graveside following the funeral service under the direction of Meares Funeral Home in Fair Bluff, NC.
Surviving are a brother, Norman D. Hayes of Burnswick, GA; a sister, Jill Couch of Clayton NC; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
