Clyde Nobles, Sr. 81 of Fair Bluff died Thursday September 6, 2012 at Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville..

Mr. Nobles was born in Columbus County NC , a son of the late Capers and Lovenia Barnes Nobles. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday September 9, 2012 at Porter Swamp Baptist Church, burial will follow in The Powell Cemetery. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Surviving are: his wife, Mary Elizabeth Nobles of the home; 2 sons, Clyde Nobles, Jr of Fair Bluff and Ted Nobles, Sr. of Benton City WA.; a sister Mabel Nobles Hall of White Oak; 4 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.
