Mrs. Desiree C. Rowe, 72, of Nichols, S.C., died Wednesday May 31, 2017 at McLeod Loris Hospital in Loris, S.C.

She was born in Marion County, on April 21, 1945, a daughter to the late Furman and Letha Wilson Collins.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday June 3, 2017, at the Buffkin-Rowe Cemetery in Horry County, S.C., with the Rev. Kevin Garris officiating.

Surviving is her husband Ronald Lee Rowe of the home; two sons, Shawn Lee Rowe, of Tabor City, N.C., and Ronnie Lee Rowe, Jr. of Clarendon, N.C.; one brother, Furman Collins; four sisters, Eloise Blackwell of Conway, S.C., Vernalee Floyd of Fair Bluff, N.C., Zella Phillips of Nichols, S.C., and Mabellean Perret of Tabor City, N.C.; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday June 2, 2017, from 7-9pm at Meares Funeral Home in Fair Bluff, N.C.

Meares Funeral Home of Fair Bluff is handling arrangements for the family.
