Edna Pauline Jenkins, 92 died Monday March 2, 2009 at Sunbridge of Mt. Olive. Mrs. Jenkins was born in Columbus County, a daughter of the late James Lonnie & Maggie Bullard Jones. She was preceded in death by her son James Edwin Jenkins. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday March 5 at Meares Funeral Home, Fair Bluff. Burial will follow in the Powell Cemetery. She is survived by a daughter, Edna Rae Snead and her husband Alvin of Mt Olive; 2 brothers, James Lonnie Jones of Lake View SC and Earl Jones of Florida; 1 sister, Sarah Smith of Fair Bluff 2 grandchildren The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 - 2 PM Thursday
