As angels came, Eloise went to her heavenly home on Friday, May 20, 2016. She was born to parents Will and Ollie Victoria Jones on July 28, 1934, the seventh child of the family of nine girls. She was a beautiful Georiga peach, Throughout her life, she experienced many roles. She was a church worker through Sunday School teaching, WMU member, GA director, and Vacation Bible School director. She was a school teacher in the Columbus County school system, a model, and active in her community as Town Clerk, Town Council, and Garden Club member.

Mrs.Bulloch moved from the Georgia hills to North Carolina when she married a dashing Air Force man, Frederick Michael Bulloch, Jr., in 1956. She worked alongside her husband in Bulloch's General Store in Cerro Gordo for many years, also enjoyed life on the farm. She was a true lady, with much love in her heart.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Frieda Strickland of Chadbourn, N.C., a son, Gary Bulloch, of Florence, S.C., 6 grandchildren: Shannon Jones of Burlington, N.C., Bonnie Scroggins of Wake Forest, N.C., Lauren Freeman of Florence, S.C., Hunter Bulloch of Columbia, S.C., Bradley Smith of Mullins, S.C., Jonathan Smith (deceased), and 3 great-grandchildren.

She will be missed but her memory will live on in the lives she has touched.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 22, 2016, in the Meares Funeral Home of Fair Bluff, N.C. from 6 PM-8 PM.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 23, 2016, at 2 PM in the Cerro Gordo Baptist church. Burial to follow in the Piney Forest Baptist Church Cemetery.
