Elouise Floyd Ammons, 80 of Fair Bluff died Friday February 6, 2015 at Shoreland Healthcare in Whiteville.

 Mrs. Ammons was born in Columbus County, July 2, 1934 and was a member of Porter Swamp Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Melvin Ammons, her mother, Tellie Floyd; a sister, Lessie Mae Ammons and a son, Mickey Ammons.

 Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Porter Swamp Baptist Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 Surviving are, 4 sons, Eddie Ammons (Marie) of Bladenboro, Danny Ammons of Fair Bluff, Donald Ammons (Jane) of Macedonia, Dale Ammons (Tammy) of Clarkton; 2 daughters, Kathy Ammons Dew (Ray) of Chadbourn, Kay Ammons Lawhorn (Rick) of Denver; 8 grandchildren, Chris Ammons (Courtney), Jeannie Ammons Norris, Ryanne Ammons, Katie Ammons, Michael Lawhorn, Rickie Lawhorn, Keith Russell, Johnny Dyson; 4 great grandchildren, Chrissy Ammons, Carah Ammons, Camden Ammons and Christian Norris.

 The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 Pm Saturday February 7, 2015 at Meares Funeral Home, Fair Bluff and at other times at the home of Kathy Dew, 1281 Paul Barnes Road, Chadbourn.
