Mr. Erskine Ellis Floyd, 81, of Orrum died Saturday November 18, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Robeson County, NC on June 13, 1936, a son to the late Geratha R. Floyd and Hallie Curvin Spivey.

Mr. Floyd was a retired farmer and served with the U.S. Army.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Erskine Floyd Family Cemetery 6055 Tobacco Rd., Orrum, NC 28369.

Survived by two sons, Erskine Paul Floyd and David Ellis Floyd both of Orrum, NC; two sisters, Carolyn Floyd Byrd of Proctorville, and Evelyn Floyd of Conover; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday November 20, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Meares Funeral Home.

Meares Funeral Home of Fair Bluff is serving the family.
