Eunice W Enzor

Eunice Williamson Enzor, 93, of Floyds died December 21 at The Pines of Florence of natural causes. Born September 30, 1932 to Robert B. Williamson and Eunice Alford Williamson.She was predeceased by her husband, Luther Lane Enzor, her sister Jeanne Williamson Shelley and her brother Robert “Buddy” Williamson, Jr. She is survived by her son, ScottEnzor, his wife, Betsy, and her grandson, Christopher. 

Eunice was a graduate of Coker College and the University of South Carolina. She worked many years as a teacher and media specialist with Horry County Schools. Throughout her career, she fostered a love of reading among her students. She began her teaching career at Finklea School. She retired as the media specialist at Green Sea Floyds High School where she touched the lives of many students and colleagues over the years. She was always lending a helping hand whenever and wherever needed. Known for her cooking skills, she often brought homemade treats to share in the library.  She was also a talented artist and enjoyed helping students and teachers with their projects.  When computers were introduced in the schools, she quickly became the resident expert and helped teachers integrate them into their instructional programs. Eunice preferred to remain “behind the scenes”, but her love and support werealways there for her family and friends.

At home, Eunice was an avid reader and could often be caught buried in a good book.  She loved animals and over the yearscared for many stray dogs and cats. She loved the outdoors and gardening, as well as cooking meals for family and friends.

At Eunice’s request, no formal service will be held. It was her wish that she be cremated and her ashes be scattered at a special place near her home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Green Sea Floyds High School Media Center at 4990 Tulip Grove Road, Green Sea, SC 29545.  Please designate in memory of Eunice Enzor and specify if it for the media center.
