Faith McDermott Rogers

Faith Ellen Rogers, 78, of Cary, NC passed away Monday April 23, 2018 at Rex Hospital.

The family will receive friends on Saturday April 28 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Meares Funeral Home in Fair Bluff, NC. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2:00 pm at Powell Cemetery in Fair Bluff.

Mrs. Rogers was born July 3, 1939 in Springfield, MA to the late Ruth and Herman Goldman. She was raised in The Bronx, NY and graduated from Christopher Columbus High School. Mrs. Rogers moved to Kinston, NC where she worked as a secretary for the Southern Life Insurance Company. After spending 25 years in Kinston, Mrs. Rogers settled in Cary, NC.

Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Ralph Lee Rogers.

She is survived by two sons, James Lee Rogers of Purcellville, VA and Edward Rogers of Dallas, TX; and one grandson, William Anthony Rogers.
