Dr. Floyd Enzor, age 84 passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at McLeod Loris after a brief illness. He loved the Lord and had preached His word since 1958. He was currently serving as Senior pastor of Nichols Baptist Church, but is best known for his weekly prayer that is read by thousands of followers in the News Times. Dr. Enzor had the privilege of serving on former President Clinton's committee of Weapons of Mass Destruction and former President Bush's committee of Homeland Security. He was also a long time member of the Masons, member of the N.C. Sheriff's Association, and former town councilman of the town of Mooresville, N.C.
Dr. Enzor was preceded in death by a brother George Enzor; sister Ella Mae Nance; and a step-son Swift Mooring. Left to cherish his memory are his wife: Juanita of the home; son Benny of Buies Creek, N.C. , daughter Lynn of Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. , step-daughter Marie of Greenville, N.C. , and step-son Carson of New Bern, N.C. He is also survived by brothers James and Earl, sisters Ada and Ida Lee; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grand children.
The family will receive friends at Nichols Baptist Church, 310 N. Main St, Nichols, S.C. 29581 on Monday, March 28, 2016, from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M.
A Graveside service will be held at Spring Branch Baptist Church Cemetery Monday, March 28, 2016, at 2:00 P.M.
