Ms. Frances R. Smith age 70, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in Columbus Regional Healthcare. Born in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Cora Smith. She is survived by two sons: Robert Smith and Monty Norris; six daughters: Tracy Canady, Samantha West, Beverly Cooke,Deborah Dyson, Donna Haynes, and Beth Norris; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 13, 2015 at  3 P.M. in the Porter Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, Cerro Gordo,N.C.
