Frankie Worley Strickland, 98 of Fair Bluff died Monday September 20, 2010 at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Whiteville Mrs. Worley was a daughter of the late Yates and Fannie Buffkin Worley. She was preceded in death by her husband Horace S. Strickland, and a daughter Beverly. Funeral services will be held at 11 Am Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Meares Funeral Home, Fair Bluff, Rev. Elmore Strickland, Dr. Floyd Enzor and Rev. Kenneth Baker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cherry Grove Cemetery. Surviving are several nieces and nephews: Al Worley of Charlotte, Tim Worley of Atlanta Ga, Robert Britt, Roger Britt, Russell Britt, Ricky Britt all of Houma LA, Susan Griffin of Houma LA, Emily Gelbaugh of Land of Lakes FL, Bruce Worley of Fountain Valley CA., Fannie L. Owens of Hope Mills, Jerri S. Vaughan of Lexington KY, Pam Baker of Southport, Jerry Gelezinsky, David Small, Willard Small and William Irvin Enzor all of Fair Bluff. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Cherry Grove Baptist Church, 9833 Swamp Fox Highway West, Cerro Gordo NC 28430
