Geneva S Hammond

Mrs.Geneva S.Hammond, age 94, of Fair Bluff, NC, died Wednesday, September 18, 2019 in the Southport Health and Rehabilitation Center, Southport, NC. Born January 19,1925 in Columbus County, NC. She was the daughter of the late James Vernon Strickland and Nellie Jane Strickland and the widow of Lenneau Hammond.

She is survived by three sons: James, Randy, and Billy Hammond; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Hammond is also predeceased by one son; Michael and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 6PM to 8PM in the Meares Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11:00AM in the Fair Bluff Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Powell Cemetery in Fair Bluff, NC.
