Gladys Wilson Hayes, 93 of Fair Bluff died Monday April 12, 2010 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. Mrs. Hayes was born on October 30, 1916 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Kenneth R. and Minta Ivey Wilson. She was a member of Porter Swamp Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Mack Hayes and a son Larry Wayne Hayes. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday April 14, 2010 at Porter Swamp Baptist Church, Rev. Tim Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are her sons, Joseph Franklin Hayes and his wife Sylvia of Graham; Glen Mitchell Hayes and his wife Judith of China Grove; 3 grandchildren, Jodi Crabbe, Robin Hayes, Matt Hayes and friend Suzanne; 3 great grandchildren, Jordan and Loren Crabbe and Dakota Kellough . The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:30 Wednesday morning at the funeral home.
