Jerry Anthony Ellis, 42 of Fair Bluff died Friday at NC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill. Jerry was born in Robeson County May 3, 1965. He was a member of Fair Bluff Baptist Church where he served as the R.A. Director. He and his father, the late W.C. Ellis, Jr. both served on the church's Deacon Board at the same time. Graveside services will be held at 11 Am Tuesday at the Powell Cemetery, Dr. Ray Lundy and Rev. Neill Smith will officiate. Surviving are his wife, Lori S. Ellis of the home; 2 sons, Drake Ellis and Tucker Ellis both of the home. His mother, Hilda B. Ellis of Fair Bluff; 2 brothers, Terrell Ellis and his wife Shelia of Fair Bluff and Mark Ellis and his wife Connie of Chadbourn; his paternal grandmother Bertice Ellis Stanley of Whiteville; several nieces and nephews.
