Mr. Jimmie made living in a small town so great. All his dedication to the town, community, and her people makes for wonderful memories. His warm smile and compassionate heart was scene at the station, scouts, and sporting events.
One of my best memories is the kind words and comfort he extended after a piano recital in which I forgot my music and could not finish.
Also, his role model as a Christ follower stood out in the person
he was and how he conducted his
life.
God's Richest Blessings to the entire Scott Family.

We offer our sincere condolences to our "extended" family, the Scotts. We loved Mr. Jimmie and will greatly miss him. We have always appreciated all that he did for his family, his "extended" family, and everyone else. His sons have always been like brothers to Lawrence. Thank you all for the love you show us, and let us know if there's ever anything we can do for you. Auf Wiedersehen, Mr. Jimmie, we'll meet again. You and your family are in our hearts and in our prayers. Love to all.

With much sadness I learned of Jimmie's death today. Jimmie and I grew closer these past few years working on our Scott family. He was always so kind to share what he had(AQ's Bible, the wonderful pictures he had taken, his WW II experiences, and the love from his Christian heart for his family). I will miss him a great deal. My family's love goes out to Jackie and we pray for your peace and comfort. I hope to see Jimmie again on God's golden shore.

To Ms. Jackie & the Scott Family,
Myra & I are deeply saddened to hear the news of Mr. Jimmie's passing. To us, he always characterized a southern gentleman - faithful to his God, his beloved wife and family, his country, his church and his town. The examples of character and integrity he imparted to younger generations will be a lasting legacy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time.
