Jimmy Harvey Bullock, 77, of Fair Bluff, NC, died on June 5, 2021 at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Hospice in Whiteville. He was born in Horry County, SC on August 31, 1943; a son of the late Harvey Lewis Bullock and Reba Graham Bullock. Mr. Bullock was a retired Service Technician for Battle LP Gas in Nichols, SC. He was also a member of the Porter Swamp Baptist Church and was active in the Brotherhood.
A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Porter Swamp Baptist Church in Cerro Gordo, with the Revs. Tim Moore and Maxie Hardee to officiate. Interment will follow in the Porter Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall at 2:00 p.m., prior to the funeral service.
Surviving are his wife, Rosa Lee Bullock of the home; two sons, Christopher D. Bullock and wife, Jenny, of Nichols, SC and Michael McCormick and wife, Crystal, of Florence, SC; a daughter, Sheila Connor and husband, Michael, of Fair Bluff; two sisters, Gerri Machmer and husband, Paul, of Holden Beach, NC and Sylvia Bissell, also of Holden Beach, NC; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Bullock; a sister, Lula Viola Lookabill; a grandson, Aaron McCormick; and a daughter, Erma Jean Bullock.
