Jimmy Frank "Bud" Soles, 79 of Nichols died Sunday at his residence. Mr. Soles was born in Marion County the son of the late Aubrey Soles and Janie Soles Tyler . He was the former owner and operator of the NAPA Auto parts store in Nichols. He was preceded in death by a sister Merita Soles Waddell. Graveside services will be held at 11 Am Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Spring Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Rev. Michael Stewart and Rev. Willie Gillard will officiate. Mr. Soles is survived by his wife, Carolyn Grainger Soles of the home; a daughter, Lisa S. Barker and her husband Jerry and their daughter Leigh Ann of Concord NC; two nephews, Larry Waddell and his wife Helen of Fair Bluff and Tim Waddell and his wife Rusty of Fair Bluff. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Meares Funeral Home in Fair Bluff NC.
