John Douglas Hilbourn

John Douglas Hilbourn, 77, of Fair Bluff passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Grayson Creek Assisted Living.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm November 7, at Meares Funeral Home in Fair Bluff, NC with Pastor Tim Moore officiating.

Mr. Hilbourn was born November 23, 1943, in Columbus County, to Hubert Hilbourn and Ruby Roberts Hilbourn. He was a member of Cyprus Branch Pentecostal. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by one daughter, Kelly Denise Hilbourn; one brother, Jerry Hilbourn; and two sisters, Judy Hilbourn Williamson and Marie Hilbourn Black.

Surviving are two daughters, Charlene Haas of Winston Salem and Johnna Grayley; one sister, Betty Hilbourn Brooks of South Carolina; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
