Jonathan E. "Peanut" Royals, 10 died Friday August 29, 2008 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. "Peanut" attended Evergreen Elementary School, where he was in the 5th grade. He was preceded in death by his mother; Freda Kay Royals; his maternal grandparents, Irvin & Margaret Nobles and his paternal grandfather Jessie Royals. He was Loved by Everybody. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Monday at Fair Bluff Baptist Church, Dr. Ray Lundy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Powell Cemetery. Surviving are his father; James W. Royals of the home; his sister, Erica Royals of the home; Paternal Grandmother, Eva Royals of Fair Bluff; two uncles, Douglas Nobles and his wife Frankie of Fair Bluff; Danny Nobles and his wife Saundra of Cerro Gordo; and two aunts, Wanda Gail Smith and her husband Roy H. of Whiteville and Penda Soles and her husband Raeford of Southern Pines. The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
