Mrs. Lacy Marie Hilburn Black, 72, of Fair Bluff died Friday August 11, 2017 in the Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Monday August 14, 2017 at the Fair Bluff Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Padget officiating.  Burial will follow in the Powell Cemetery.

She was born in Columbus Co. on December 14, 1944: a daughter of the late Hubert and Ruby Roberts Hilburn.

Mrs. Black was a retired employee of the Southeastern Regional Mental Health in Whiteville.

Surviving are a son, L. Darrell Meares of Fair Bluff; two daughters Norma Rabon of Evergreen and Amy Meares of Lumberton; two brothers, Jerry Hilburn of Mocksville and John Hilburn of Fair Bluff; a sister, Betty Carol Brooks of Conway, SC.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday August 13, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Meares Funeral Home.
