Lois Turbeville Hammond, 85 of Nichols died Wednesday September 10, 2014.

 Mrs. Hammond was preceded in death by her husband Anderson Hammond and a son, Robin Dean Hammond, she was a Loving Mother and Grandmother.

 Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Spring Branch Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.

 Surviving are her son, Gene Anderson Hammond and his wife Phyllis of Nichols; Speical Sister-in-law Elise H. Caughman; 3 grandchildren, James Hammond and his wife Jennifer of Fair Bluff NC, William Dean Hammond of Nichols, Tori Lynn Hammond of Nichols and 4 great grandchildren, Peyton Hammond, Jana Hammond, Carolina Elliott and Abigail Elliott.
