Lottie Leola Green, 83 of Cerro Gordo died Wednesday October 1, 2014.

 Mrs. Green was born in Columbus County, a daughter of the late Charles Kermit and Lucy Nance Dudney.  She was a homemaker and member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Green also was retired from the Columbus County Public Schools. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Mack Green.

 Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Rev, Jeff Stocks will officiate. Burial will follow in the Powell Cemetery in Fair Bluff.

 Surviving are: 2 sons, James Clayton Green and Chad Everette Green both of Cerro Gordo; 2 daughters, Lila Green Soles and Bonita Green Pomeroy both of Cerro Gordo; a brother, Thomas Dudney of Fairfax VA; a sister, Evelyn Dudney Godwin of Wallace; 8 grandchildren, Alvin Soles, Reggie Soles, Byron Soles, Holly Soles, Heather Hunt, Brandy Love, Whitney Green, Zachery Green & 8 great grandchildren.

 The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday October 4, 2014 from 7 until 9 PM.

 Memorials may be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Cerro Gordo NC.
