Louise Townsend Thomason, 86, of Fair Bluff died Friday at Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville. Mrs. Thomason was born in Columbus County a daughter of the late Mack Rufus and Louvenia Waller Townsend. Mrs. Thomason worked as a clerk at Ellis Devine Meares Department Store, as a teller and Bookkeeper with First Union Bank in Fair Bluff and had worked at the Fair Bluff Community Library. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Beatrice Buie and Don Morris, and her brother Bill Townsend. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, February 10, 2008 at The Powell Cemetery in Fair Bluff. Dr. Ray Lundy will officiate. Mrs. Thomason is survived by a daughter Linda T. Anderson and her husband Durham H. Anderson of Nichols; a grandson, Barret D. Anderson and his wife Julie P. Anderson and their daughhter Alaina of Powdersville, SC; a nephew Steve A. Buie and his wife Mary of Bladenboro; a great niece Randi Buie Harrellson and her husband Chris and their son Stephen of Bladenboro. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
