Lucille Hill Miller of Fair Bluff died Sunday February 22, 2015 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center in Whiteville.

Mrs. Miller was born August 30, 1931, a daughter of the late Munroe and Maude Strickland Hill. She was the cafeteria manager at Fair Bluff School and was preceded in death by her husband Sherwood Miller; a grandson, Scott Powers, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday February 24, 2015 at Hinson’s Crossroads Baptist Church, burial will follow in the Meares Cemetery.

 Surviving are her son, Richard Miller of Green Sea SC; 4 daughters, Susan Miller Nance of Chadbourn, Betty Miller Tedder of Fair Bluff, Sally Powers of Evergreen, Nancy M. Weatherford of Fair Bluff; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren

 The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Monday, February 23, 2015 at the funeral home.
