Michael Byrd Obituary

Mr. Michael Byrd, 63, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at his home in Fair Bluff after a brief illness. He was born in Columbus County, the son of the late Michael V. Byrd and the late Mary Byrd.

He is survived by one sister, Kay Byrd of Wilmington, N.C. Also surviving are a host of friends.

Michael was known for his mechanical skills and for his love of boat racing.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 23, 2022, in the Powell Cemetery in Fair Bluff, N.C.
