Neta Mae Worley, 89 of Cerro Gordo died Sunday at Angel House Hospice Care Center in Whiteville. Mrs. Worley was a member of Cherry Grove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Moody Bardin Worley, Sr., her son Bardin Worley, Jr. and a daughter Angela "Ann" Strickland. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday at Cherry Grove Baptist Church , Rev. Josh Phillips will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cherry Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Surviving is a daughter, Judy W. Williams of Cerro Gordo; three grandchildren Bardin Worley,III, Tanya Lanier, Christopher Strickland and 7 great grandchildren The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
