Norma "Dixie" Dixie Gore

Mrs. Norma D. Gore died Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the Angel House Hospice in Whiteville, NC. She was born on May 9, 1941 to the late Sampson and Fannie Edwards in Columbus County, NC.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by husband Bill Gore; brother Sammy Edwards, sister Nettie Morgan; and son Freddie Fowler.

Norma leaves to her cherished memory, daughter Debbie Long of Chadbourn, NC ; son Norman Fowler of Chapel Hill, NC; brother Johnny Edwards of Chadbourn, NC, and sister Martha Ray Hardee.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 11:00 am at Fair Bluff Baptist Church with the family receiving friends prior to the service at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at the Powell Cemetery following the service.
