Pearl H Johnson

Mrs. Pearl Jonson age 95, of Iron Station, NC, formerly of Fair Bluff, NC, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in the Novant Health Center, Huntersville, NC. She was the daughter of the late Ed Hammond and Ruby Thompson. She is also predeceased by six brothers, one sister, and an infant son, Bruce Michael.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by sisters; Evelyn Benton of Virginia Beach, VA, and Shelia Fields of Iron Station, NC. Also surviving are daughters Kathy McCrory( Will Stephens) of Orrum, NC; Linda Jones(Russell) of Palm Bay, Fla; and Cindy Dudley (Randy) of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; as well as 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Saturday, January 21, 2023 in the Porter Swamp Baptist Church, Cerro Gordo, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

 The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:50 PM in the church.
