Randy Allen Hammond

Mr. Randy Allen Hammond, 70, of Fair Bluff, NC entered into eternity at his residence on Monday, March 22, 2021. He was born July 27, 1950 to the late Lenneau Dowell Hammond and Geneva Strickland Hammond.

Randy drove and owned 18 wheelers for over 40 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory, the love of his life, Bessie E. Hammond, to whom he was married for 48 years on March 11, 2021, 3 children: Jennifer H. Strickland (Shannon) of Cerro Gordo, NC, Mindy Rogers (Darryl Nance) of Evergreen, NC and Billy Allen Hammond of the home, 7 grandchildren: Dustin Callahan, David "Quentin" Strickland, Jordan R. Rogers, Lindsey B. Strickland, Carla Rogers, Dawson Hammond and Ayden Hammond, one great-grand child: Marissa Rose, and 2 brothers: Billy W. Hammond and James Hammond.

He was preceded in death by two children: David Ray Callahan and an infant daughter, one brother: Mikey Hammond.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Powell Cemetery with Rev. Ray Lundy and Dr. Archie Paul Bullard officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
