Mr. Roger Dale Edwards, 71, of Cerro Gordo, NC died Wednesday January 3, 2018, at his residence.

He was born in Columbus County, NC on January 9, 1946; a son to the late Raymond and Edith Lovette Edwards.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00pm on Friday, January 5, 2018 in the Edwards Family Cemetery on Guilford Edwards Rd., in Cerro Gordo, with the Rev. Neill Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday January 4, 2018 from 6-8pm at Meares Funeral Home in Fair Bluff, and other times at the residence.

Surviving are two sons, Ronnie Dale Edwards of the home, Scotty Allan Williams of Fair Bluff, NC and a granddaughter Whitney Marie Edwards.
