Ronald Dale Wilson, 62 of Fair Bluff died Saturday March 13, 2010 at Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville. Mr. Wilson was born in Marion County, SC a son of the late Herbert B. and Dorothy Hilbourn Wilson. He was preceded in death by a brother John Wayne Wilson. Mr. Wilson attended Cypress Branch Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church and was an animal lover, especially horses, he will be long remembered as owning a Siberian tiger which he enjoyed showing to the community. Funeral services will be held 3 Pm Wednesday March 17, 2010 at Cypress Branch Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church. Rev. Perry Cribb will officiate. Burial will follow in the Powell Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Betty Cannon Wilson of the home; 2 sons, Ronald Patrick Wilson and Steven Gregory Dale Wilson both of Fair Bluff; 3 daughters , Angela Michelle Rogers of Old Dock, Rhonda Wilson Strickland of Cerro Gordo, Crystal Wilson Arnold of Fair Bluff, and their mother , Ila Pearl Wilson of Fair Bluff; 3 adopted daughters, Christina Hope Wilson , Amanda Marie Wilson and and Amy Nicole Wilson all of Cerro Gordo; a step son, Kevin Todd of Loris SC; 1 step daughter, Tammy Moses of Loris SC, ; 3 brothers, Billy Mack Wilson of Marion VA, Earl Wilson of Clarkton, Edgar Wilson of Evergreen; 2 sisters, Anne Meares of Raleigh and Carolyn Granzow of Forest City; 15 Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Pm Tuesday March 16, 2010 at Meares Funeral Home, 795 Main Street Fair Bluff NC.
