Ruth Lovett Reel, 84 of Fair Bluff died Sunday August 19, 2012 at Columbus Regional Healthcare in Whiteville.

Mrs. Reel was born in Robeson County NC, a daughter of the late Emory and Beulah Pridgen Lovett. Mrs. Reel was a member of Hinson’s Crossroads Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reel was preceded in death by 3 children Joy Reel, Stanley Reel and Carol Reel.

The family will receive friends Wednesday August 22, 2012 from 1 until 2 PM at the fellowship hall of Hinson’s Crossroads Baptist Church. A graveside committal service will follow in the Meares Cemetery.

Surviving are her husband, L.V. Reel of the home; a son, Michael Reel of Forest VA.; a sister, Anne Doern of Sunset Beach; 6 grandchildren, Don Bataille, Ron Bataille, Katherine Busch, Kimberly Reel, Kristen Shufford, James Reel; 6 great grandchildren Jarrod Bataille, Hailey Bataille, Ashley Bataille, Caileigh Busch, Riley Busch, and Charlie Busch.

Memorials may be made to the Cemetery Fund of Hinson’s Crossroads Baptist Church, 1521 Hinson’s Crossroads Rd. Fair Bluff NC 28439
