Sadie Walters

Sadie Walters, age 89, of Supply, NC (formerly of Fairmont, NC), passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at her daughter's home in Supply, NC. She went into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sadie looked forward to the day when she would be in His presence where she would fall down and worship Him.

As devoted, wife and mother, she radiated joy as her family grew each generation. She loved all her babies. With strength and determination, she embraced life and all of its challenges.

Born February 25,1936 in Columbus County, NC, she was the widow of James Walters, and daughter of the late Clarence Hammond and the late Lottie Pittman Hammond.

She is also predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.

Sadie is survived by two sons; James Walters, Jr of Darlington, SC, and Michael Walters (Jean) of Bolivia, NC.: two daughters; Cheryl Campbell (Wayne) of Lake View, SC and Twilla (Michele) of Supply, NC. Also surviving are four sisters; a brother and many grandchildren and great-grand children.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 12:15 PM-12:45 PM in the Meares & Jones Funeral Service Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Meares & Jones Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Orrum, NC.
