Sarah Elizabeth “Teenie” Smith, 88 of Fair Bluff died Monday at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Life Care Center in Whiteville.

Mrs. Smith was born in Fuquay Varina NC, a daughter of the late Lonnie and Maggie Warwick Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kemper “Bill” Smith; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Edwards; 3 sisters, Dot Lineham, Pauline Jenkins, Betty Boyette; 4 brothers, B. Ray Jones, Cliff Jones, Bill Jones and Earl Jones.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the funeral home, Rev. Tim Moore and Faye Perritt will officiate. Burial will follow in the Powell Cemetery.

Surviving are a son, Pete Smith of Fair Bluff; a step daughter, Jean Burroughs of Whiteville; a brother, Lonnie Jones, Jr. of Lake View, SC; 7 grandchildren, Jessica Autumn Rogers, Billy Smith, Ray Smith, Becky Singletary, Leneza Karpenski, Lisa Gail Hinkle, Frank Reales; 19 Great Grandchildren, Isabella Rogers, Leslie Warwick, Ira Warwick Jr., Billy Polston, David Polston, Simone Warwick, Matthew Rowell, Autumn Godwin, Natalie Singletary, Corey Fore, Joey Fore, Jena Fore, Michael Karpenski, Kimberly Karpenski, Dustin Pearson, Kye Thompson, Ty Reales, Katie Reales, Meliossa Davis; 4 great great grandchildren, Riley Godwin, Bryson Godwin, Emily Rowell, Brianna Rowell.

The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
