Thelma Ivey Martin, 89 of Fair Bluff died Friday at Waterbrook Assisted Living in Tabor City. Mrs. Martin was born in Columbus County a daughter of the late Lube and Rilla Sealy Ivey. She was preceded in death by her husband Coy Martin. Graveside services will be held 3 PM Sunday, May 24 at the Powell Cemetery in Fair Bluff, Rev. Jerry Phillips will officiate. Surviving are : 2 daughters, Nancy Hause of Hastings, MI and Ann Jacobs of Fayetteville; a son, Roger Martin of Tabor City; a brother, Charles Ivey of Fair Bluff; a sister, Rosabelle Barnes of Barstow CA; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
