Virginia C Butler

Virginia C. Butler, age 87, of Fair Bluff, NC,  passed away June,19, 2023, in the Shoreland Health Care and Retirement Center, Whiteville, NC. Born May 1, 1936, in Marion County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Horace Cribb and Ruby Causey Cribb.

She is survived by two children, Allan (Kathy) Butler of Louisville, Ky. and Suzanne (Jeff) Julius of Dallas Tx.; a brother, Harold (Fannie Lou) Cribb, of Fair Bluff, NC. Also surviving are grandchildren; Brad (Brynne) Butler of Louisville, Ky, Barbara Butler, Louisville, Ky, Grant Julius, Denver, Col, Christian Julius, Louisville, Ky., and Jordan (Mark) Shaffer, Louisville, Ky.

Virginia was a nurse for over 50 years.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM, officiated by Rev. Jay Black, in the Spring Branch Baptist Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
